Agreed. Grass seed does NOT want to be sown deeply. Ideally sown on the surface and just raked in lightly.

Think i've got some old chain harrows in the back of a shed, might have too dig them out.

Don't know when i'm going to get it done. Haven't even started the wheat yet...
