Grass seed shortage.

It dries a day sooner than ryegrass . Needs cutting as soon as heads are out for hay

Sounds great if a spell of good weather turns up when you need it

Grass seed is grown virtually across the globe. This heatwave in Europe might reduce yields but Canada and NZ etc will be doing their thing as usual.

Someone was telling me a while back he did the same to sow his new lawn was regretting it now as was cutting lawn every other day

A mate of mine who is a builder moved into a new house and asked if i had some grass seed to put down for a lawn.i had some fast growing ryegrass i gave him and after it started to grow he was cutting it every other day.he eventually pulled it up and put some hard standing down instead
