Where dos it come from in the first place ? balers off grass jobs / combines , birds , we swap straw for muck with neighbour with cattle and lot of horses , we end up with some big heaps and horse muck is always green over and cattle muck relatively clean hence this years project is to compost it all pre spreading ,if think pushing up and turning is not getting enough of a cooking affect .

In my knapsacking exploits I have noticed a strong correlation between hare grazing and BG patches.
