Grass?

evening all

Can anybody id this grass,
Got acre field that was reseeded a few years back ,with what was supposed to be a long term general grazing seed,
But all that grew was this grass.

Its a very fine grass and doesnt grow any taller then 9-12” high

Had a look online and the leaves look like fine fescue
Its gradually getting less productive ,
Theres no clover in the field at all would sowing some white clover in field help,?

Depends what sort of fescue it is really lots of varieties.
Not a bad grazer or for hay but you could add some ryegrass and maybe some Timothy to it with your white clover.
