Has anyone got a grasshopper Agrimech mower hiding away in the hedge row im looking for some parts to help me fix one im trying to do up? Having an issue with trying to shim up the belt between the two sprockets. still causing the belt to walk down the sprockets.

Cheers Dave.

Yes, he used their designs as he used to work for them, they sued successfully and mower production stopped at ktwo.
Actually Terry dug out some brochures of an Eastern Bloc mower which he used to prove that Grasshopper had copied this mower, so the design was not Grasshoppers.
We had the second K2 mower made in 1992, and it appeared in the advertising brochure. Frankly it was very troublesome, and was only 8', he designed a 10' but never produced one. Ours went in the scrap many years ago.

He did well there then as in 1992 the major problem for eastern block mower operators would of been smelling of horses at the end of a shift.
As far as "digging out some brochures", he was the designer/product manager employed by Agrimech so if he didn't know where the designs came from nobody did.
