Grassland 2020 cancelled

Dear Exhibitor,

I am writing to inform you that the RASE trustees met today and agreed that if Government advice indicated that gatherings should not take place, then both the British Pig and Poultry Fair and the Grassland & Muck Event will be cancelled.

Therefore in light of the Prime Minister’s address this evening both events will not take place in 2020.

While we are sorry to have to make this announcement to cancel, it is the right decision to protect the health of the industry and indeed the wider population in these unprecedented circumstances.

We will be in touch in due course to confirm future plans for both events.

One of my favourite events. It’s a real shame.

Visited the site a week last Friday for an arranged recce and what a shame as it was a good new site. Oh well as most other events are also cancelling we have to look forward to 2021 I guess.

As an exhibitor I'm disappointed we're only going to get 25% of our stand payment back, and potentially 25% discount on a stand in 2023. I know there are costs involved but to swallow up 75% of exhibitors payments seems pretty unfair.
