Has anyone had any experience with grazing Mustard and oats cover crop with Hoggets dec/feb???

Won’t the mustard be killed by the first frost?
I grazed some straight mustard in October a couple of years ago. Lambs did OK and ‘ticked over’, but not much more than that.

Have grazed mule wethers on mustard in January. Grew like weeds, sold most fat off it when it ran out.
