Right well here we are at the 4th of september! We have undersown some cover crops which look ok but could use a drink. We have 50 acres that are destined for a spring crop, what cover crop should we plant. Is it too late for stubble tunips maybe forage rape? We have oats that could go in the mix. We have planted pedders in the past but would like to compromise to maximize sheep grazing. Our rotation does not include OSR on this block of land. We are trying for a loose rotation of WW/WB/stubble turnips/S Bean or S Peas.
