Now that we do not have to fill the greening part of the bps in.does that mean we can do away with the 5% area of weeds and rubbish we have had to endure all these years?

If you were using fallow as an option yes you could have planted it. You still have to keep your cross compliance strips around the bottom of hedges.

Until you decide that you have to do elms then most of the farm will be weeds.
