What sort off cost?

I don't want to frighten you ;) but i'll guarantee it'll be more than you want to spend. Will be closer to 10k than 5k depending on the harnesses you need in your 6830. When i put the same system in a 6630 i had a grant on it which helped considerably. But its a great system and i have drilled using SF1 without any problems with a 3m Vaderstad.

Bugger me nothing is cheap now, but I suppose being a tight arse contractor I would say that  in your opinion would it improve work rate which ultimately pays for it?

You can make it autotrac ready but that we be at a fair cost
So I would go for a universal wheel that works very well
Starfire 3000 sf2 and a 1800 display .

Got some second hand kit if needed

This.

Customers like arrow straight drill work. You have to decide if it's worth the expense & how much you will gain from it.

It's addictive!

Like to do the straightest drilling possible as me and my customers see it all year !! But if it does it perfect all the time it might be worthwhile investment (y)

Here in Denmark, John deere is running a campaign on a 3000 antenna, 1800 screen and atu steering wheel, 6000 £. I think that's a cheap way to get started on a non ready tractor.

I got my non autotrac 7530 made made autotrac ready a few years ago, it was 4200. And then you will have to buy the gps afterwards.

Do you have any used equipment that could be put together for basic parallel tracking? Ie gsd4 screen, receiver and necessary wiring?

Andrew when you put atu in tractor. Which way up did you put motor I put ours in 69 upside down and made a more rigid fixing Blocks a bit of dash. But no knee banging and bit more room. Buy 2630 screen.
Managed to get ours fitted like this so not in the way of my knees and can spin the seat round.(y)
