Grenadier at "overs"

First few delivered now and speculators are selling for over list already I see !

The only dealer in Wales still hasn’t had a production version for demo, let alone retail sold delivery.
It should be noted that the add above promises delivery in April from a factory order date of June last year. Their delivery dates are pure fantasy so far with repeated delays of months at a time.

I've got a Grenadier Lycra Top
As for anything Landrover
I was offered one for the wife, low mileage at a bargain price
But after the 10th person I asked ,said P lease God No
I listened to God and bought an Audi 🤣

I was quite anti the new defender but after a few thousand miles in Europe in one I think its a pretty good car now

Grenadier more expensive .... that makes no sense

I will be first in the Q for a electric range rover when it's a reality , can't see me buying a car that does significant annual milage with a ICE again now

When i visit Spire hospital I often see the Consultants parking up with their posh big cars , walking about with their jump charging leads and messing about on their phones
Be better employed looking after their patient's , one guy was scratching his head for over half an hour before he connected

The Grenadier is not more expensive if you compare like with like. Indeed it appears to be about £10k cheaper.
I specced a Defender up a couple of weeks ago with a different but equally high equipment level. Neither being with everything but higher than average.
They are different beasts of course, with the Grenadier having an auxiliary battery system with high output connections and switches, off road tyres, rubber mats, no rear side windows but diff locks on front and rear axles, as listed previously.

The Defender 110 comes to nearly £74,000 with no VAT qualification or commercial tax relief to deduct. That’s a lot more than the Grenadier’s £56k + VAT.

Neither are cheap vehicles. If cheap motoring is a priority, these are way off base. As a farm runabout and real workhorse, similar to the old Defender in either van or, as is the case above, County Station Wagon form, then the Grenadier fits the bill better than the new Defender. There is little doubt though that the New Defender will be more refined, more luxurious, more economical with fuel and a far higher volume seller. It is a consumer product more than the Grenadier, which tilts towards being a more industrial product.

Yes, but Grenadier is now at least two years late of its promised first deliveries. When dealers have invested in the brand, with showrooms and branding already in place for the last year with nothing to show for it, there must have been some very unforeseen delays late in the build process.
I believe that the only dealer in Wales, which is quite a big area with the majority of the population centred around the dealership’s location, has 34 orders on its books. Only 34. Many of them may well change their minds before delivery, while others, like me, are waiting to see the production version and specifically the commercial passenger type.

However it would not surprise me one bit if Grenadier had a ‘no resale within x months' clause in their sales contract. Many brands do have this now.

Iv got a plan to make all towns park and ride
Push bikes would be free to hire
This would cut town noise and air pollution in towns overnight .
Best of all my kids would not have to listen to the constant swearing from angy impatient car drivers. Anyone who drove a big 4x4 when they could easily manage with a mini would have it sent to direct to the crusher 🤣
