worth a phone call. ?

Last time I messed with. /tested the seals on diaphram area.. If I recall correctly pull out pull to Stop
hold fingers/seal seal bango union to inlet area.. banjo bolt removed.
then release the pull to stop
u should be able to hold/sseal the rack in the off end
if this makes sense ? ????
if it pops straight back then there is a leak some were.

Also check that mushroom bolt filter on the atmosphere side of the diaphram is clean .. Could be removed for a test ? ??

as already stated they do wear the spindle for the butterfly then draw air in .....
