Ground Source Heat Pumping Systems

Hi everyone,

Did you know that, if you use or need a heat supply to dry your crops or provide heat to your poultry or pigs etc., you are able to get a free cash subsidy if you were to use a Ground Source Heating Pump System?

RHI is available on gshp, I'm installing one for poultry very soon.

Hi @chickens and wheat.

Interesting to hear that!

Would you be happy for me to chat this through with you?

It would be worthwhile seeing if we can help you with any funding requirement you may have. I’m currently quite new to the GSHP projects but really keen to understand the different benefits to the various farming sectors..

@Grassman whats the rhi approval difficulty?
New farmhouse with purpose built office. Workshop with hot water supply and sink.
They just don't seem to understand why we want hot water supply outside of the house. This has dragged on for 18 months with them wanting further information. Send it and wait 6 weeks for another email asking for further information. Quite often it's information already given on the original application.
Last time I replied I asked them to confirm receipt and get no reply. Try and ring and nobody answers.

With hindsight I should of heated a room in the workshop as well.

Am getting to the point of withdrawing the application and starting again.
