Nothing was sprayed off. In fact, we combined the last bit of cover crop that wasn't squashed by drills yesterday and now have a nice little heap of seed for next years covers.
The ground was very dry when the drills were working and a month later there was no sign of any seed coming up, apart from a flock of jackdaws that were working away at digging it up on a couple of the plots. So it's really an endurance test as much as anything, which drill buried the seed well enough for it to wait 6 weeks for rain before germinating?
