from what i can see ELMS is going to make ploughing pretty financial unattractive

There really is no need to plough though and there is no doubt that it is responsible for a LOT of pollution

We have to do something about the damage done to climate, surely of all people farmers can see this ?

crazy to even consider doing it in 2021 or that its still legal given the clear present state of our climate

surely only a lunatic would continue to damage their own environment ?

first principles for those thinking of moving to a more regenerative system

That's why ELMS is a sh!tfest.

Not because of the Goldsmiths, or Carrie, or Packham, or the Moonbat, or Craig Bennett, or Tony Juniper.

Because of farmers putting it into the head of @Janet Hughes Defra that there are 'good' and 'bad' ways of farming.

That's why countless farmers, who never stopped farming in an environmentally benign way, are now staring into a financial black hole. Because of farmers who f@cked up telling @Janet Hughes Defra that it is they who need all of the money so that they may make reparations.

Well done. Enjoy your camp. I hope it p!sses it down.

What Janet Hughes knows about farming is probably not worth knowing.

will Georg monbot and sebasting cocks ? be there.

Beautiful time of year here on my Beautiful farm why would i sully it waste time and with paying money to go to some event like that ?

no sir' Sheep shearing atm anyway

I find it amazing that defra know better than 30 + other country’s on what farming is and how it’s financed . With these people in charge there will be no food no farmers lots of forms. How did we get here ???? Food price will skyrocket and this will fail.

All very well to rewild the uk but again ……. WHAT are we going to eat ?? I’m all for nature but tbh defra are now taking the pis s with nanny state statements like this video. They have no idea what it takes to get out of bed in the morning and make it happen on the shop floor

Literally where they would lead us , uptake oon this or lack of is the only way to show that farmers are not absolute glove puppets for politicians. We farm the bloody farms we do the bloody work they are taking the bloody pi ss with this. Christ i with we were still in Europe the French farmers would have burnt down Paris by now. We have clotted cream at groundswell ( that is now a festival ? ) ok carry on what a bloody mess , it’s a disgrace.

Put it to the general public make a big thing of it if uk food security had the same coverage as Boris Johnstone Christmas bloody party we would get an answer ps , not a hand selected mob. Do you want pure birds be bees or as anyone with a degree of common sense or do you want birds bees and food ????! I can tell you what the answer would be.

why are uk’s farmers so dam obsessed with food security ? ……… you will all maybe make money if food was a little shorter than it has been maybe ?

food security is a governmental problem not a farmers problem

You’re not worrying about that tenner again are you? 😂

Personally, I’d like to have an idle nosey around Groundswell with the ‘great and the good’, but only if I could do it without travelling more than a couple of dozen miles. I doubt I’d be virtuous enough to be allowed in though.
I hope those that do attend have a good time though.🍺
