Hello, I am contemplating the possible purchase of a rear discharge Gyrax spreader. I have seen 5he brand around a bit and I know southern harvesters used to sell the gear. Does anyone know what it is like and in particular the dung spreaders? All constructive comments gratefully received.

I have one, it about 10 years old. It is a lightweight spreader, short and tall.
It has developed a few cracks around the axle and around the draw bar, nothing to worry about.
It not a Bunnings, but it was not the price of one.

I forgot to say, but the spread patten is very good. Could not get any replacement tips for the beeter. I found a company that could make them very easily.
I forget what I paid, I would have to look it up, but if your one is in good order, the 7 to 8k would be about right. Depend on tyres, rust, floor chains and so on.
