We have been using this. 5L has lasted us 3 years so far but we will probably need a new one next year https://www.pitchcare.com/shop/spra...s/precision-blue-spray-pattern-indicator.html
Thank you. Ive been spraying stragglers that were missed with the sprayer , and others that have just appeared over the canopy for the last 3 days. Im sure some have been done 2 or 3 times [emoji1]I got some from procam, it's blue. Can't remember off the too of my head but I'll look after tea.

If it is in the area birds and animals will move it a fair way.I have chopped my straw all this century so no contractors at all. Must have come in the new seed. None in the field drilled with home saved seed.
I hope so, but i rogue using all 24m of the sprayer. Saves a lot of walking but not much good for making money!!Would spot spraying with roundup work? Might be easier
Well the seed you buy in doesn't need to be 100% clean of blackgrass to pass inspection, so in reality it's not a possibility, it's certaintyI have chopped my straw all this century so no contractors at all. Must have come in the new seed. None in the field drilled with home saved seed.
The seed gets in nooks and crannies and falls off randomly. Most seed will be dropped by harvest but not all. Especially In rape.Would bg really stay in a combine, I would have thought it would go straight through. The seeds are tiny.
Would the plants not have dropped there seed before harvest?
I did think the same, but guess a couple might make it to the grain tank per load and thats all it takes. Also would smaller plants or spring germinated plants with heads below the crop canopy set seed later, i.e. around harvest time? Could explain how they might be missed in a seed crop if they are out of sight?Would bg really stay in a combine, I would have thought it would go straight through. The seeds are tiny.

@Will7 what bags did you use and is it any good with tractor with link box or just drop bags in tramlines then go pick up.My gang are on their last day today. Five have of them have been here 8 days and have done 20ha. I have no bad patches and looking from a distance the fields looked clean.
This is not economical so winter wheat is now out the rotation on any fields with a sniff of blackgrass.
We have bagged the bg up and will burn it once it dries
Heavy duty black bin liners from my wife's catering business. I got them to drop them and then I picked them up later but I would recommend you pick them as you go@Will7 what bags did you use and is it any good with tractor with link box or just drop bags in tramlines then go pick up.
