Just a quick message, spotted potential hare coursing going on near to Brechin, Angus today. Two vehicles and men with whippet/lurcher type dogs in the field. Didn't manage to get any registrations but it was a Black vitara/shogun and a grey mpv. They didn't like being confronted and took off pretty quick.

Anyone else seen anything?

Try harder next time to get the rego’s.
It does take a bit of concentration but focus on the number plate and your ‘phone camera and get that/those pictures.
Seriously.
I have managed to have a person stopped dead-in-the-water in this way.
Now in the Police records as an undesirable.
Gathering intelligence is paramount and truly makes a difference.

Gather intelligence. Photo’s are one of the best ways. Irrespective if the number plates have been cloned. In one click you have vehicle colour, make and if you are lucky a drivers face, all in a split second.
Likely a waste of time but it may make a minute difference

Good advice @suffolksmallholder, but about this? Use video and then you can pause and snip multiple pics to share if necessary. Posting them on logical WhatsApp groups or sharing them with the insurance company if you need to make a claim.

My only concern is this needs to be done from a safe distance. They will run you down and not scared to hit police officers or cars, so you’ll be a legitimate target if you get in the way. Most of them use false plates as well.
