Situation Vacant Harvest 2018 Vacancies (Storekeepers)

Woldgrain is a cooperatively owned central storage and processing facility, handling combinable crops grown within 65 miles of Hemswell, Lincolnshire.

The current storage capacity is 90,000mt, made up of wheat, barley, oilseed rape and beans.


Woldgrain are recruiting NIGHT SHIFT workers for 2018.
  • GRAIN DRYING DUTIES
  • To cover the harvest period (July to September/October)
  • 6 x 12hr NIGHT shifts per week
  • Operating three modern continuous flow driers
  • Experience preferred but not essential
  • Would suit agric student or similar
  • No accommodation available

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
