How do most people sort out haulage of kit from one side of the country to the other? We bought a machine miles away, phoned around several haulage outfits advertised online and got prices around £50 between all the quotes, then went for the one who said they could move in the next day, or following. Now two weeks later and machine has been collected from seller, but not delivered and haulage not returning calls, txt. Rather frustrating now!

Normally use joe Gleave. Service is second to none. Otherwise if machine is bought from a dealer I let them sort it.

Would happily use @roscoe erf but gear needed moving from cumbria to cornwall, so prob won't have suit him. Currently trying to find out where our machine has ended up, may have to get another haulage firm to move down here. What a mess!

Easy said than done, when heavy calving, and family away so on our own. The haulage firm was recommended on the haulage section on TFF, so as they said they had lorries this way a couple times a week, and would be here witu 2/3days, im wandered if they are hanging on for extra gear to shift down this way, and putting their heads in the sand.
