Have we had 2 crap years back to back ?

We've had shockers before but can't remember consecutive rubbish years , struggled to cut grains and sowed bugger all yet

2019/2020 were pretty shite back to back. 2007/2008 were pretty crap too.

2007 we didn't start wheat until 20/9
2012 cut ok sowed nothing
2019 was ok for cutting but sowed nothing
Last year was ok for cutting sowed / mauled a bit in
This year had bugger all to cut and still struggled

My neighbour measures rainfall , a normal year (jan - dec) we get 3ft av , last year was 6ft , this year is 4ft so far ..............

Forecast never right this year and 10 day good periods soon turned out to be barely 5 days.

On the whole 2 pretty good years, September this year has been wetter than ideal, I was saying on here back mid August that we needed rain but I didn’t want to wish for too much cone September as it can soon turn wet, unfortunately it has.
