My neighbour went past with some baled hay earlier. Well timed- it was raining half an hour later!
They are hay fanatics, make about 10,000 small bales a year, plus rounds and big squares. Plenty of vintage kit on show too.

locally second cut here will be greater volume....quality though?
Missed that luckily .
Not done any harm here, apart from our football getting called off as I was en route.
Sheep still in all our meadows, should get them moved out by middle of next week. Might be some grass worth cutting end of July/early August
they've no idea!
We might be a week or 10 days later than usual, because of the cold spring haven't got all the sheep moved up to higher ground yet, I don't see the point in robbing this years lamb crop to make feed for next years.
