Mower hooked up last night, weather watching all day yesterday with little to no chance of rain this morning and no rain until Sunday! Would have been happily sat mowing right now but decided it was going to put a few MM down at 10 and now not a chance to get going until later on today even if it burns off. Worried about ground conditions, walked some of it last night and seems to be holding up well but I'd rather watch the crop go backwards than make some big old ruts.
Really really not fair what it's done here this morning, must have just got the tail end of a rain cloud. Very pee'd off now

My forecasts show rain from Sunday night and showers all next week. Not good
pee'd down here this morning and still a bit of drizzle on and off. Thunder storms forecast for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week which isn't something I've ever seen before 3 days on the trot like that. Luckily I'm not in a hurry to cut anything but would like to finish shearing.

Yes, this is the most tricky I think I've had to deal with. Managed to get on earlier with the fert as was so well under foot and then the bit of rain came and crop flushed, then sun and really took it..... Suppose something was going to go wrong.
Sun is out now and wind with it, so should have it down by later tonight. Worry is it's reseeded ground and massive crop all gone to head. Was wanting to dry it as best as poss to save on the ammount of bales to wrap and cart
