Contractor around here uses one for roadsides but not the most stable platform.
Good for what he does, he has a circular saw type and one with two swinging blades for softer cutting.

I have a mcconnell hydraulic driven chainsaw that I intend to fit on to a frame on telehandler to trim overhanging branches off trees.did try the saw cutting a fallen tree up,it is absolutely awesome as the petrol chainsaw will start to fade when it cuts full length of the bar but the hydraulic one just keeps chomping through, hard work though pulling the pipes about.
