Height of heatwave lamb milk feeder

To feed lambs does the heatwave machine and milk have to sit on the floor or can it be raised? I'd like to put it on a ledge approx 3 feet high.

I have mine level with the teats and the tank of milk on top of it. If its too low you'll find it hard to suck milk up to the teats and if too high, the milk will drip from the teats
