Help identify this engine please

    It's in a generator of unknown origin.
    Apologies for the poor photos , they were sent by a colleague..

    Looks like mine, a Perkins 4.107.
    Really need better photos.

    As above Perkins 4.107 or 4.108. Should be another number stamped on the flange by the fuel pump.

    A guy I work with was at York auctions yesterday and spotted a generator with that engine in it and sent on the photos. He does a bit of work on repairing older kit and always has an eye out for engines and bits that might be useful or could be repurposed...

    He thought it might be a BMC or Newage unit but didn't buy anyway.
