Help, Used John Deer 9780 cts any good?

On my search for replacement combine harvester, I’ve come across a 2010 John Deer 9780 .
Been a NH man all my life, what’s the John Deer combine like?

Weather conditions up here, very very very erm...... mixed, to say the least

The CTS is a five walker sized sieve area, a very good output for its physical size.
Neighbours have one, goes really well.

Terrible combine, you stick to the new Holland's, give me the man's name and number and I'll put him right for trying to sell such a heap to an unsuspecting customer! ????

The CTS were all right, sort of like a [whisper] green Axial flow. Don't know about the STS though.

CTS is nothing like an axial flow at all .

They were relatively simple, reliable and worked. Of course the internals are not alike.

Over complicated, not the most reliable, won’t cut beans, under powered, sieve area not big enough. Should I go on, NH or Class if it where my money?

Did you have one? Sound like bitter experience? Are these and all later Deere's CAN-BUS? I know that early CTS had some issues in this regard but not sure about later ones?

Never owned one (luckily) worked on plenty and neighbours still have one (my 560tt walks away from it). Had to do some major repairs to it I’ve the years.
Pretty much everything is can-bus now.

I’ve had 2 cts , they were not the best in beans or osr but set up properly they would fly in wheat but or have to push on and keep them full up all the time .
