Help with 1970 Ford 5000 conduit

Hello Everyone my friend has asked if I could post for him and see if anyone knows where this conduit connects to the body work or chassis ?

He said it has some wiring in it but doesn't know where it should be mounted ( in the picture it has red tape round it to protect the paint)

Probably across the top of the gearbox to carry a feed to the the sidelights on the mudguards

I’ll look on mine tonight. My first guess would be connects round (on top) of the gearbox to run wires front to back.

Will check on mine tomorrow or tonight if I remember!
