Help with Autotronic problems

Autotronic problems, stripped out 2 gears and one fork, replaced complete transmission, now have all speeds EXCEPT the A side, have all B side, A side acts like it is 1/2 in gear, will move tractor but rakes gears.
appears to be the hydraulic side of trans and nobody here knows anything about it

have you engaged the fork correctly when you have put side plate back on its very easy to get the arm on the side plate on one side of the fork in the gearbox so it moves the selector one way but wont pull it back ? it can get grown men crying trying to engage it correctly.

I used to connect an airline in place of the oil pipe to test the a b before filling with oil. Not that that helps you now. Pretty sure if you have missed the fork as masseybreaker suggested you won't be able to get the lever across the gate from a to b as the sideways movement of the selector is baulked until the a b selector has moved. The a b piston should be shimmed after a rebuild. With the end cap and piston removed the rod is forced fully in and a tool is used to measure the depth. Shims are the added to make sure the rod has full travel before the piston hits the end of the cylinder. The other direction of the piston is controlled by how much the end cap is screwed in.
