Help with my Kubota mower

Hi I have a Kubota GR2120 Diesel ride on Mower and i need help to cut some rough grass without collecting the grass up.. Can someone explain how I can do this. do I have to take the collection box off, I have had a look and it does not look straightforward. Usually I have a gardener who helps me with this but with Covid, as we are self isolating, he cannot come at the moment.

does the cut grass go up the chute from the side of the mower deck or rear? If rear just lift the collection box off and let it spray out from behind. If side take the tube that the grass comes up from the deck if it’s not already there most have them on spring hinges install the side exit chute jobs a goodun DO NOT run the mower with no side chute as the blades are easily caught by feet and hands ??

could you possibly explain how to get the box off the back as simply as possible

Lift the orange bar in the middle to allow the grass collector to swing back to you there’s a lever on the right hand rear wheel arch behind the seat pull that towards you grass box comes off happy mowing! I hope you don’t take this the wrong way it’s coming from concern for your safety are you competent using this mower? It’s very easy to go down a rabbit hole or such especially on long grass resulting in the best a hospital visit the worst death. Take care

I do not know the model, but DO shut the engine off before doing anything. Friend lost his fingers not doing this!
