Hello after looking for a new job as a herdsman, was wondering what to expect as a wage, I don't really know what's good, been offered a job every other weekend and a day off in the week with a house, whats a fair wage???? At the moment i work 6 day a week, every other weekend off but no house at just under 600 a week,

Surely it depends on your experience? Theres a big difference between someone who has been working with cows since school, ai'd thousands of cows and can calf a cow with their eyes closed than someone who has relief milked and done a bit of scraping up with a ai certificate. 30k + a house is alot of money for someone who is potentially unproven and could do a lot of damage.

edit : I dont mean any offence with this comment, you could be top notch and probably are but theres a huge range of abilities between herdsman.
