We are looking at buying a second hand set of the above, 4m folding but we 've been told there was bearing issues with earlier models? Is anybody able to shed any light? Common problem with them?

I can’t comment on the folding models but we had a 3m mounted and it was a great tool for a fast and shallow chit. We used to run it all day long at about 15kph and never had any bearings go In that I recall.
