sort of , mines a 5 seater , though i keep back seats flat and put a piece of ply in ,for big load area , plenty of room and more secure than a tub, landcruiser is 7 seats and is a bit higher

never seen a 7 seat Hilux here & Hilux’s here are the top selling car in Australia for quite a few years now

the only 4 Runners / Surfs I have seen are generally grey imports - they certainly aren’t common, given how popular Hilux utes are

I was more thinking of removing the tub and fitting a passenger area for two people, and taking out rear window to connect.

Toyota has produced several estate type cars based on the the HiLux, 4Runner, Foretuner, Surf,etc sadly non sold officially in the UK where we only have the upmarket Land Cruiser to compete with Disco 4,5 Range Rover.

What do you have? A 4 runner?

no surf gen 3 , (basically a landcruiser running gear ) and treated as estate car for road tax (£260)and insurance reasons . only bought it as stop gap three years ago , can be used as car if i put seats up and can get a sheet of 8x4 ply in back with them down
