Thinking of a new pick up, probably Hilux. Any good dealers in central Scotland, someone that can supply canopies etc. Also has anyone got an extra cab as only have 3 or more in it rarely.

Not central Scotland but I believe border toyota are very good. Alpha canopies are good. No aluminium linings are very helpful.

There Ian a pretty good discount if you are in BASC. NFU may be similar.

I got an older hilux extra cab, not much room for an adult in the back if you're travelling very far,

Not central Scot but Finnie 4x4 at Peterhead send all types of trucks new and secondhand all over the country.

He does his own special edition ones if thats your thing and will supply whatever canopy/extras you want on it.

Tried to do deal with him on a LC Commercial but never came back to me with a price for my Hilux

ive got the latest model hilux extra cab, and also had the previous model extra cab, i find it ideal if you have kids, or sometimes a couple of adults ? makes the bed longer so more useable, also can use the space behind the front seats for stuff, main problem i had was dealing with toyota ? so hard to spend money with them?

never spoken to the guy , but you have went to the bother to send 20 photos why not 5mins and giving him a call , you still don't get any response then go and tell him to do one

By his own admission he's not interested in a p/ex as he just wants to sell new/new/new to boost his sales figures at Toyota

He just punts them out to the trade and doesn't retail good used trucks on the forecourt - bit short sighted as they could make a bit on the used ones too

I may well do that - but a reply from a salesman should be a common courtesy

In my area of work - good service and communication, with timely responses is the norm

Why vehicle salesmen live in their own bubble and don't just return your calls or emails is a mystery to me

I did get a price from davie for my trade in but ended up keeping mine which I bought new from eastern Toyota at the newbridge roundabout without any hassle

I’ve a 2015 Hilux double cab in grey with canopy and 55,000 miles if you’re interested? £18,000 on?
