Hiring a muckspreader,TB risk?

There’s always a risk, proberbly be more worried about johnes and other diseases. I hire a rear discharge in but it comes steam cleaned out and has to be the same when it’s returned, yes it’s a pain washing it after you’ve finished with it but it reduces the risk.

Interesting question, I have a few hundred tonnes of muck to spread that I bring in from a neighbour and intend hiring a spreader if it ever dries up!!

But it will all be going on arable ground rather than grass....

Bit off topic but still biosecurity risk. Where does that straw come from? Black grass in the straw?

Straws local but not mine. So yes a risk but not seen and BG around here and talking to my agronomist he’s not seen much if any in Devon as yet. A good bit around Taunton.

Don’t think local soils suit BG.
