holistic farming as a new forum ?

I did the millionth post or something like that, there were big celebrations (dancing girls, trumpeter, @Sleepy declaring it etc. ) and I still didn't get a mug

They couldn't afford a dancing girl so @martian stepped up. It wasn't all that special to be honest and all fell a bit flat ( like his feet ) and my trumpet playing was equally as bad but I've never tried before. We'll try to get some practice in because you're soon likely to hit the 2 millionth if anyone mentions the CS.

I've been working on the steps a bit since then (tbh I found the dreadful farting noise the trumpet was making a little off putting) and I think holistic Morris dancing (HMD) has a useful part to play in restoring fertility to over ploughed land. I only hope Will didn't think I was getting a bit fresh. A couple of pints in and I've got the turning circle of a Morris Oxford, to coin a confusing metaphor...

I wouldn't worry too much about Will, I think secretly he was enjoying all the attention, although it was a good job nobody videoed the whole kerfuffle as none of us would have ever been taken seriously again!

I would appreciate it if a 4th forum in the Direct Drilling Forums would be established, a forum about holistic farming or similar named !!

I think a lot of members here have interest in a more sustainable way of farming and watched enough youtube-videos about Colin Seis, Gabe Brown, Ray Archuleta, etc. and some have even visited them recently ....

Up to now some threads regarding these issues of holistic farming are spread over several forums on TFF, be it the Cropping, Lifestock or DDing Forums. I would find it useful and I think the time has come now to share all these ideas and experiences about mob stocking, pasture cropping or real DDing with less chemicals and less fertilizers in an own forum.
Many interesting and sustainable solutions are practiced in other parts of the world but as far as I know no one has really adapted these ideas of holistic farming management to our humid and moderately temperated european conditions !? Hopefully we would get quicker and further forward solving this challenge if we focus all the interest and knowledge in a new "Holistic Farming" forum !?

What do others think about that ??

Holistic farming... surely that's IFM... integrated farm management

I wrote about it for my dissertation (y)
