Anyone done the above?

Currently the costs of buying one and the amount I want to use it for just don't add up. Has anyone tried to make one? Or had anyone any tips on how they're used so that I could work out which bits need to be adjustable.

I just want to be able to DD some alternative grass seed and maybe some root stuff into PP to try and rejuvenate it and get it going a bit more.

I have an old cultivator and a seed drill that may come in useful as donors. Was thinking of using some old plough wheels to slit the ground... But I need to find some of those first
