20170518_153112.jpg 20170518_153132.jpg 20170518_153238.jpg not a lot to report, pics of the floor chain and slats, and the rear funneling box. One half of the side sheet was left off until last to make access easier untill we got the floor sorted. My slant on the digital, internet ,computer world we live in today, it can,and probably does waste a lot of our time, but this prodject would have been very difficult, allmost imposible with out the internet ,both for ideas and inspiration, and being able to see what components are available, and to source them at a reasonable price.

20170520_091411.jpg 20170520_091458.jpg This system of fixing the slats to the chains was used on Fella 20170520_091411.jpg 20170520_091458.jpg forage wagons, where some of the red coloured channel slats have come from. And on Kemper forage wagons, plenty of these bits listed on Kramp and Granit's parts web site, found on Krone, Bergmann,Mengele,Strautmann, etc etc, listed under Manure spreaders, the bolts can be had for around 50p, the spacers about a £1, chain from £5 to £15 per meter, and the sprockets around £ 40 to £50 . So not too expensive if someone wants to build a bale unroller feeder etc, conveyor etc.

The middle T gearbox is about 1:1.9 ratio ,and the L gearboxes are about 1:1.4 ratio, so should slow the spinners down enough so I can use with the 1000 pto speed on the Track Marshall, tractors these days have enough choice 540 ,540E, 1000, etc
Whats machine is that third gearbox in of in the picture its hardly a atkinson lime spreader box by any chance

No not Atkinson, a Commer topper gearbox, the type with the input shaft going straight through .
Saw a post on here a few weeks ago, someone had loads of atkinson parts, in Devon??

I'm supprised how much paint is needed, used nearly 5 ltrs, so I'm going to have to fet some more. Will put the wheels back on now, prime and paint the back end,fix the gearboxes and discs ,all the pipes and lights, then we can lift it up to finish painting in underneath. And thanks to you all for the comments, made us feel that we were not allone on the job. Drone? . . Got access to a go pro camera, and the manitou bucket? Will do my best! And thanks

Looking good[emoji1] well done that looks a well engineered piece of kit and plenty capacity as well!
Will it be quite top heavy when loaded?
Not trying to pick holes in your work though[emoji106]. I suppose you don't need to fill it full when on steep ground[emoji1]
