What do you find the best way to keep track of all hoof work done on the cows on the farm? We do all our own trimming. Currently we enter our hoof records into our herd management program. I find the information to be very basic and not readily available. Do any dairy farmers run the kind of chute side programs that a lot of professional hoof trimmers are running? I like the level of detailed information that is available through such programs, just wonder if it’s worth the money.
