What sort of horse power would I need on a CO8 with Metcalfe points? Anyone using one. Thinking OSR, and cover crops mainly.

200 would pull it

6m on a 724 is like it’s not even there

@Banana Bar there is a good one for sale locally to me (Bicester, Oxon) if you would like more info? Not mine but a very good pal. In standard spec (duetts/grain only/big tyres on seed cart etc)

If you are scratching in OSR then 200hp might do, but 4" deep for beans on heavy soil would be needing nearer 300hp esp if hilly IMHO.

As above, when i had my 6m on metcalffs 6210r was more than boss drilling cereals and OSR direct (on fairly flat ground). Putting beans in direct tho it needed 300hp.

my neighbour used to run a c08 on standard points behind a 7250 case magnum if that’s any help.
