Anybody recommend one to mount on front of house? Area of view approx 30m x 30m.

Nothing too fancy required, but I'd rather not buy cheap rubbish that will only last a year.

I don't have a mobile phone and don't want one (deaf). Is there something similar that will store photos or video? I suppose if linked up to a computer, the computer would need to be permanently switched on?

So
How do these cameras work.
Do they need to be in site of a router?
Or can you get them to connect direct to net

Looking for something to get pics back to house from storage compound
Not easy to hard wire
Have a stand alone system over there but need to go over there to check cameras.
Would be nice for at least 1to be connected however back to the house

Use y-cam here - good stuff, cheap but not too cheap ! easy set up, phone app and decent quality. Been fitted a few years now without issue and have a few around farm buildings as well
Possibly a stupid question but do thee cameras just work absolutely anywhere or do they need to be in range of wireless broadband or plugged into the internet?
I want to put a camera into my milking robot shed to let me see what the milking arm is doing when I am away to guide those that are left in charge of the farm.
I have a landline phone cable for the alarm dialler in the robot shed but no broadband.
I can install a cable to the PC in my office which does get wireless broadband from the farm house.
