IS the Hp figures that tractordata website give accurate? Or are they a bit high low?

just looking a fiat 110-90 is given as 110hp on the site which I expected.
A new Holland 7840 is given as 90hp on the site. Always presumed these were at least 100hp?
Its giving an Mf 390 at 81 whereas I thought they were 90hp.

They give two figures don't they, engine HP, and HP at the PTO, the latter being less than the former? I'll leave it to the mechanical experts to explain what the difference between the two numbers is, I've not the foggiest.

I thought that NH7840 was 100hp also.
390 was 81hp I believe while the 390T was 90 and the 398 was something like 93hp but with the heavy duty rear hubs and higher transmission shaft speed.

None or all these may vary in 'accuracy' because there are so many different ways and ratings used to measure the power, apart from some being gross and some net hp. Very few would record the same hp from measuring the exact same engine. The NH at 90 is probably a mistake.
