Or, if you want to specify a particular post, click on the #number at the bottom of the post copy the given link and paste it in your other thread. To do this on phone you need to hold it in landscape, the #number doesn't show when in portrait.

Yes it's the https (website address) at the top of the screen. On tablet (or phone) double tap in the address, choose select all and then copy. Then go to where you want to post it. Right , so how do you quote someone in a different thread , if you get my drift .
Well done, fast you learn young jedi.I managed that. You just press "+quote" instead of "reply" and you can plop it in anywhere (I did that instead of doing what I originally wanted, in the end).
That creates a link to that post which you can paste some where else, it doesn't quote the post in question.

The link is to your post number 12, click the #12 at the bottom of the page, that brings up second screenshot.
Click on the link, select all, copy.
Then you can paste it into another thread via the little chain (link).
