Hello Guys,
My name is Marius and I am a 3D designer and maker. I have just designed a magnetic holder for AirTags . It helps you protect your machinery or any asset that has metal parts on it. You just have to place the AirTag in the magnetic holder, stick it to your tractor and you are ready to track it.
The holders are made here in Bristol, UK

If you have any questions or suggestions, please write on this thread and I will be happy to answer.

Hi, I am selling just the holder for the airtag. There is no annual fee, you just need to buy an airtag. It uses the apple network to update its position. Every time a person with an iphone is in the airtag range, it updates its position with the apple servers. If you do a search on youtube for "how airtag works" you will find many videos explaining everything.

You can buy the magnetic holder from here :

I am also selling it on amazon, ebay and etsy

There is a problem though. AirTags have anti stalking features. If the tag is away from its linked phone for too long it will make a noise so you can locate it (I think this may be three days). It will also notify an iPhone user if it appears to be tracking the same movements.
might not be so good for tracking stolen items and might cause trust issues with employees so be aware.

Yes, it is true. We designed the magnetic holder mainly to help people protect the assets they are using on a daily basis - tool box, car, van, tractor ... etc , but also as a fast deployment temporary protection. For example if the machinery is left overnight somewhere not 100% safe, you can just stick the airtag on it and sleep better at night.

If you want to fully protect a machine, the speaker from the airtag can be removed ( there are many tutorials on youtube ) and you can hide the magnetic holder in a place impossible to find. If the thieves will not be able to find it in a matter of hours, they will probably abandon the vehicle.

We think this is the cheapest way to protect you assets and it gives you the flexibility to just keep it in the pocket and use it only when you need it. We had a few customers who removed the speaker and hid it in the engine compartment in places where you need to take the whole engine down to be able to find it.

Good response and a good idea. Thanks for explaining (y)
