How many collars/peds for heat detection?

Are you finding the rumination data useful?
I wouldn’t be without it. But I can still pick up sick cows on occasion before it’ll show the drop in rumination, I probably don’t quite use it enough to get the full benefits but as times gone on and I’ve got more adept at reading the data it has saved some cows

Heard mixed reports. Was all gung ho for them for this winter, but wanted to carry on serving in the cubicles as we do on RMS. Thought it would work well for them, but they wanted full RMS rate plus paying for the collars. So we're still just on rms, but I really feel technology would give better results

Genus haven't worked their business model out yet...

Anyone swapping onto the sensetime subscription scheme rather than just buying collars outright?
I like cow manager subscription model because it doesn't result in a day of reckoning every 5 years or so when the system needs to be replaced.

I think in the past the technology was out of date by year 5 and needed replacing anyhow but not sure this will be the case going forward.
