How many times have you left and moved to another buyer in the last 10 years.

Take overs, company name change,(ML to Arla or DC to Saputo)
Not included.

I left Dairy Crest in 2011 to join Milk Link. At the time it didn’t look like the wisest of moves on price but I was very disillusioned with what DCD could actually achieve as far as price rises went and the only time they could ever get positive result was following a Milk Links rises. I handed my notice in and left a year later.
Certainly don’t regret and wouldn’t want to be anywhere other than Arla, although I suspect financially on average there wasn’t a whole lot in it.

Just once, you could say forced because I couldn’t accept new terms on the contract. Took advantage of the small print to get out quickly.

Very happy with the new lot, have had a couple of really good opportunities with them.

Just the once, First Milk to Arla.

A few more historically as I started in the last year of MMB, so a merger or 4 along the way.
I've only ever sold milk via a co-op though.

MMB - Milk Marque - MD Foods - Arla would only be 1 move.

Are you going to answer your own question @Sid ?
I have in the poll 😉
In last 10 years none.
Previous to that MMB to Milk Marque , refused to be assigned to the regional co-op of ML.
Moved to national co-op OMSCo 2nd largest dedicated Organic co-op in the world after our joint member CROPP(Organic Valley).

MMB_Milk Marque_Zenith_DFOB_Rock farm Dairies (went bust )-Embleton Hall Dairies ( For 6 Wks ,then had too much milk and asked if we would like to move to FM, Meadow or ARLA. We joined Arla in 2012 as we were sick of just being in the liquid business & felt brands were the way forward
