16 turns for 4 layers, 30 to a roll
24 for 6 layers 20 to a roll

Stick a bale on the wrapper count the amount of turns it takes to cover the bale, it should just be covered at 7 turns but it needs and 8th to actually fully cover it with 2 layers(50% overlap) at 7 turns the wraps will only just barely meet so it needs the 8th to actually put 2 layers across the whole bale.

I bought a used McHale and the first roll did 41 bales. Turns out there are different gears at the top of the rollers to alter the stretch %. Left the gears the same and do six layers with about 24to26 bales on a roll
