As per title, I've had a young bull get to some young heifers, how soon can they be jabbed to stop any unwanted pregnancies? It's in the back of my mind that they can't be done straight away.
Why not just interestedDefinetly not plan B
Yes it's far from 100%My lot like to jab them twice a couple of weeks apart also.
Not sure of exact age without looking but about 6 months, a bunch of 10, 2 of which were holding their tales up as if having being served. Why not just interested
Don't know, I'd have thought not but you do hear of such things. Also I haven't checked ages so may well be a bit older.Would they be cycling that early?
First thing i would do is watch them in 3 weeks, if you see them bulling then nothing to worry about, if not then jab themNot sure of exact age without looking but about 6 months, a bunch of 10, 2 of which were holding their tales up as if having being served.
I have the numbers of those 2 and it's quite unlikely that more would have been bulling on one day but still feel it would be safest to jab the lot.
No, you don't.You need to wait at least 10 days. As embryo needs to implant before estrumate would work.
Maybe we could compromise, 6.5 daysIt's pretty funny. Guys are trying so hard to disagree with what bovine says and him saying 6 days so they are recommending 7 days.
