How to charge for Bull service

I have some one who wants to bring two heifers to my bull and I am not sure how to go about charging for the service.

So it will be two heifers on a B&B arrangement, for a period of time and also the use of my bull.
Any advice would be greatly received.

Are that these heifers health tested?
Unless they are fully screened I wouldn't let them near my bull.

“I know where the tools are if you need to borrow one or I could give my dad a message for you.”

“Well,” The farmer said uncomfortably “I wanted to talk to your dad about your brother Howard getting my daughter pregnant.”

The boy thought for a moment then said

“You’ll have to talk to my dad about that. I know he charges $500 for the bulls and $150 for the pigs, but I have no idea how much he charges for Howard.”

Yeah I know but I am trying to help out a lady who only has two heifers and just wants to get them in calf but doesn't want to use AI.

Ne'er mind the health checks -if thats an issue.

Is this a pedigree bull, or of some especial note?
If not, then it's not an issue.
Charge what you feel is reasonable, and if health status is an issue, politely decline.
