How to check a fuel stop solenoid

My NH L95 (TL100) suddenly won't start, I have changed the filter and fuel pump. Fuel seems to be getting to the injection pump but not coming out. Thinking it could be one of two things, the stop solenoid has packed up or the injection pump drive has sheared or broken a tooth. Hoping is the former, but how do I test it?

For future reference to any one else you can remove the solenoid and re fit it without the little plunger, shoukd start then but won’t switch off with the key
Picking your brains now, Case 1840 skid steer won't start. New filter and lift pump, fuel getting to the injector pump but no sign of fuel getting to the injectors. 12.5v in the solenoid wire and clicks when touching on and off but quieter than I thought. When cranking, the wire is showing 7.5v. Is that enough to open the valve and would it click if it's fecked?. R sole if a job to change it for no reason, took most of the day to do the lift pump

Remove the solonoid from pump and take out the rubber tipped plunger.

You should have cranking voltage at the solonoid mind. I.e 10-11v or more

I'm no electric expert but I thought it was low. New key switch, new starter motor,it's like Denzels broom. Battery shows 12.9 v standing, but maybe it's not doing it's job under load

Wat is it doing under cranking load?

Measure on the battery posts themselves and then again on frame and starter motor +ve terminal to see if you're loosing volts..

I'll have a go when I've got some more hands on deck. It's like juggling trying to hold wires, turn the key and read the screen at the same time😕
